NEW DELHI: Google today is commending the 78th birthday celebration of Indian cricketer Dilip Sardesai with a doodle. Regularly viewed as India's best batsman against turn knocking down some pins, Mr. Sardesai made his first check in cricket in the between college Rohinton Baria Trophy in 1959-60 where he made 435 keeps running at a normal of 87.

Dilip Sardesai influenced his top notch to cricket make a big appearance for Indian Universities against the visiting Pakistan group at Pune in 1960-61, scoring 87 out of 194 minutes. Mr. Sardesai's quick achievement prompted his determination for the Board President's XI against a similar group at Bangalore, where he scored 106, and after that as a backup in the last match of the Test arrangement. He scored 202 against Madras University at about a similar time and was then chosen to speak to Bombay in the Ranji Trophy. Dilip Sardesai was one of the five Indian Cricket Cricketers of the Year in 1960-61.

Dilip Sardesai died on 2 July 2007, after he was admitted to Bombay Hospital on 23 June following a chest infection.

Dilip Sardesai made due by his significant other, Nandini, who is a humanist and an individual from the Indian Censor Board for films. His child, Rajdeep Sardesai is a conspicuous writer. He was the Editor-in-Chief of IBN18 Network, that incorporates CNN-IBN, IBN7, and IBN-Lokmat from where he cleared out in July 2014. Dilip Sardesai's little girl, Shonali, is a senior social researcher at the World Bank in Washington. His child-in-law Taimur Baig is the Principal Economist at Monetary Authority in Singapore. His little girl in-law Sagarika Ghose is a Rhodes Scholar, columnist, and creator.
